Where were you then?

It doesn’t matter that you haven’t spoken up till now. That is water gone under the bridge. Speak up now for whatever matters to you. We need enough voices for each issue to keep the oppressors in check. They needn’t be the same voices on each issue. 

‘Where were you then?’ is not a question but an attempt to stifle your voice. You are answerable to only your own conscience. Please do speak up. You owe this to your children.
